Reuters exclusively reveals Schlumberger adjusts operations planning as U.S. COVID-19 cases soar

Reuters reported exclusively that Schlumberger, the world’s largest oilfield services company, is adjusting operations planning as COVID-19 infections have soared among its U.S. workforce. Schlumberger has had around 14 employees per day test positive for the virus this month, compared to roughly two per day in November, according to an internal document. It has declined to say the percentage of workers who are vaccinated.
