Q: Why was CloudView integrated into TotalCloud?
A: TotalCloud is Qualys’ all-encompassing Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP). By integrating CloudView into TotalCloud, we aim to provide you with a centralized platform that allows you to seamlessly manage all your cloud security findings, including vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and threats. This unified approach will simplify your cloud security management and provide you with a comprehensive view of your security posture.
Q: What changes will I see on the Qualys Platform?
A: With the integration of CloudView into TotalCloud, you will now see only one module, “TotalCloud,” under the Cloud Security section of the Module Picker. This consolidation will ensure a seamless and intuitive experience when navigating your cloud security features.
Q: Where can I find my CloudView configuration and findings?
A: Your CloudView configuration and findings will be seamlessly and automatically transitioned to TotalCloud (no action will be required from your end). You will be able to access and view all your CloudView data within the respective tabs in TotalCloud. There will be no change in functionality or any data loss transition.
Q: Has my CloudView license changed to a TotalCloud license?
A: No. Your existing CloudView license remains unchanged. We understand that license agreements are essential, and you will continue to operate under your current CloudView license. However, during your renewal, we can offer you the option to upgrade to a TotalCloud license that will enable you to unlock the full potential of TotalCloud.
Q: When will CloudView be integrated into TotalCloud?
A: We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all CloudView customers and will be rolling out the integration changes over the next few weeks, starting from mid-June 2023.
