Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.50% By Investing.com


Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.50% to hit a new 52-week high.

The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 2.73% or 160.00 points to trade at 6,030.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) added 2.15% or 1,510.00 points to end at 71,760.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.11% or 1,750.00 points to 84,550.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:), which fell 2.40% or 2,240.00 points to trade at 91,210.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.16% or 63.00 points to end at 2,851.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.06% or 710.00 points to 33,700.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.73% or 160.00 to 6,030.00. Shares in Nova (TASE:) rose to all time highs; up 2.15% or 1,510.00 to 71,760.00.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.09% or 0.85 to $79.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.79% or 0.65 to hit $83.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 25.25 to trade at $2,349.75 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.13% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.46% to 4.02.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 104.96.
