- Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) announced today it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Tenyx, a developer of artificial intelligence voice agents that aid in customer service.
- Salesforce plans to use the acquisition to bolster its AI-driven solutions and customer interactions.
- The acquisition is expected to close sometime before Oct. 31, 2024. Details on the cost of the acquisition were not revealed.
- “The integration of Tenyx’s deep knowledge of voice AI with Salesforce Service Cloud positions Salesforce to set new standards in customer experience,” Salesforce said.
- Tenyx’s co-founders, including CEO Itamar Arel and CTO Adam Earle, will also join Salesforce once the acquisition is complete.
- Tenyx was founded in 2022 and is based in Los Altos, Calif.
